Multi-Site Active Directory Replication Lab

Designed and deployed a simulated multi-site enterprisenetwork using Hyper-V virtual machines, representing two company officeslocated in Vancouver and Toronto. Each site operates its own network and DomainController running Windows Server 2025, with both locations connected through asecure IPsec site-to-site VPN tunnel using pfSense routers/firewalls.

Configured Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and DNS,promoting the Vancouver server as the initial Domain Controller and joining theToronto server as a secondary Domain Controller within the same domain.

Implemented Active Directory Sites and Services to definegeographic sites, configure subnets, site links, replication intervals, andschedules, ensuring proper replication behavior between both locations.

Validated cross-site replication by creating andsynchronizing users, DNS records, and Group Policy Objects, confirming thatchanges made at either site replicate successfully across the VPN connection.
